In this mode there is a large volume of effluent approx. 1000m3/hr Freshwater Mode While running in seawater mode the scrubber utilizes an closed-loop system. Recycled freshwater is continuously being pump around in the scrubber and added sodium hydroxide to balance the PH-value.
